UQAM faced a tough task in attempting to take down the divisional leader in Dependances but they fell way behind early, and that proved to be their downfall as even though they made a late surge, it was too little, too late as Dependances stayed unbeaten by taking a 110-95 triumph. Matthew Ouellette led the way for Dependances with 26 points while Maxime Boudreau, who was celebrating his birthday, Yannick Chouinard, Maxime Paulhus and Larry Hunter added 23,22,15 and 11. Alexandre Bernard led all scorers with 30 points for UQAM while Philippe Tamba, Thierry Justin and Vincent Champagne added 21.18 and 17.
