n a battle of long time rivals who have duked it out in many hotly contested affairs in the past AK REC and RETRO tipped off in what was a nailbiting affair all throughout as AK REC refused to get blown out in this one, as they have plenty in the past and it was a very good decision to choose this game as the one where they would finally get over that hump because its the one the counted the most as the winner would advance to face the X PISTOLS in the final. AK REC came out flying high early on building a comfortable 11 point lead but that lead would quickly evaporate as RETRO got 24 from its superstar Nicolas Delourmel who carried his team on his back turning this one completely around taking a 6 pt lead early in the 4th quarter only to see AK REC show tremendous resiliency and get the defensive stops they would need to seal the deal on this one as Francois Kerr and David Jespersen knocked in 13 a piece in the stunning upset of a RETRO bunch who were handed only their 2nd defeat of the season with a 70-65 win.
