The Headhunters (4) were matched up against Romano (5)
Wednesday night for a spot in the next round. Romano held a lead as high as 23,
paving the way into the semi’s. Unfortunately, they weren’t able to hang on, as
the Headhunters clawed their way back into the game and eventually knocked out
their opponents, squeezing out a 62-61 win. Nick Audet and Hess Mayele produced
team highs 18 and 14 points for the victors while Nyv Segev’s 13 topped Romano’s
point-getters in their final game of the season.
