In battle of two very evenly matched teams the WOLVES and NEW GENESIS did battle in a terrific ball game that saw the WOLVES go up 16 points at halftime thanks in large part to Jordan Pleet's 17 point first half as he carried his team early on and was the difference at the outset. John Metayer of NEW GENESIS however was not interested in going down so easily as he banged home 39 colossal points willing his team back into this one pulling them to within one in the second half but it was simply not enough as the WOLVES found a way to hold on and stave off the NEW GENESIS comeback squeaking out a 79-75 victory in very impressive style punching their ticket into the MCBL finals in six days.
