Rothstein and Amar clashed to kick off their season
Wednesday night as both teams looked to start off with a win. Rothstein’s effective
start got them a 12 point lead at the half, too much for Amar to make up as
Rothstein took this one 57-46. The winners’ victory was thanks to a balanced
effort, with Neil Etinson, Joey Rothstein and Michael Orenstein leading the
way, knocking down 15, 14 and 12 points each. The Amar loss spoiled a strong
individual effort from Jonathan Shadowitz, whose 22 points topped all scorers.
